Situated on the A358 main tourist route between the County town of Taunton (8 miles) and Minehead (14 miles) we are within easy reach of the many local attractions and renowned places of interest within the county of Somerset.

- Don't forget you can also reach the beautiful sandy beaches of the North Devon coastline within 1½ hours drive for a bit of sun, sand and surf!

The nearby Quantock Hills are criss-crossed by many footpaths, bridleways and byways and remain popular with walkers, mountain-bikers and horseriders. Watch for the red deer and the ponies grazing amongst the bracken.

We are a stones throw away from the infamous West Somerset Railway line and the magnificent steam trains which provide a regular service between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. Regular steam gala weekends are held throughout the year which attract enthusiasts from around the globe. Also look out for the special theme trains which are detailed on their website.

Guests may also catch glimpses of, and hear, the steam trains from one of the scenic public footpaths which can be joined directly from the leaving the entrance of the B&B.

Closeby is the exclusive Cedar Falls Health Spa which offers special day packages for celebrating that special occasion or just simply for sheer relaxation and indulgence.

We are within easy reach of three popular wedding venues, St Audries Park, Crowcombe Court and Bagborough House. We can arrange local taxi hire to and from these venues by prior arrangement.

There are two excellent a la carte restaurants for that special evening out as well as two more traditional inns with log-burning fires and good hearty food all within 15 minutes driving distance.
